Felixstowe

Looking northwest from the Pier towards Cobbold Point.
The nearest hut (with flag) is the deckchair concession. Note the capstan just this side and the diesel engine behind it, both used for hauling fishing dinghies - fresh fish was sold from the huts along this part of the beach. The brick building behind the concession is the Town Hall. At the far end of the beach is the Spa Pavilion and above it, in the trees, is Harvest House. At the time this was HQ to Fisons, agri-chemicals. Constitution Hill sweeps up around the white building, top left of photo.
